The book I am reading is A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks, and the genre is realistic fiction and romance. The story is about Landon Carter, he is known as a bad boy and some adults say he is on the fast track to prison. He was required to go to the homecoming dance, but there was just one problem. He couldn't find a date. He thought about taking Jamie Sullivan. A shy girl, but she would do anything for anyone. Her dad is the Baptist minister at the town's church, so she always has her bible with her. Landon decided to ask her to the dance and Jamie said yes, but on one condition; he couldn't fall in love with her. I really like this book because there is always something going on in the story. I think most girls would enjoy reading this book. Any girl that likes realistic fiction and romance would enjoy this book. I also think that anyone who likes Nicholas Sparks would enjoy A Walk To Remember too.
