"Hatchet," by Gary Paulsen is a outstanding book. This book is about a kid named Brian who is on his way to visit his father, in Canada , on a small plane. Unfortunately, something happen to the pilot, which forces Brian to undergo harsh conditions in the the Canadian wilderness. The genre of this book is realistic fiction. I enjoyed reading this book, because it kept me guessing on every page. I would recommend this book to someone who loves action packed books.
