The book I read is Kissing Snowflakes by Abby Sher. It's about a girl named Samantha (16) who goes on vacation to a ski resort with her dad, her brother, Jeremy (17), and her new stepmom, Kathy, who - let's just say - is not her favorite person in the world. When Samantha thinks all odds are against her, she meets this boy Drew who is the ski instructor. Sparks fly and they strike up a relationship. Because of her desperation to stay with him and his group of "cool, older friends," she compromises herself and regrets it.
