Deet’s dad has to go to jail for using drugs. Now Deet has to take over the responsibilities for his dad, and he has a lot to do because he only has his mom. This book mostly is about Deet's life and what he has to overcome with only one parent
I chose this book because a friend told me about it and the cover looked good. It’s good its filled with a lot of twists. The end of chapters always leaves you hanging and it has an unpredictable ending. Some other books by this author are Tough Boy and Sister and also Winter Camp. I enjoyed this book so you will too.
